The THM basics: The fundamental rule of THM is separating carbs from fats in every meal, but always include protein. No refined sugars, limited grains.

There are 3  basic meal types:

“S” for satisfying –  protein and healthy fats, less than 10 grams net carbs – Bacon, eggs and coffee with cream – Just say, “Yes, Please!”

“E” for Energizing – protein and healthy carbs less than 5 gram fats – Burritos bowls with chicken rice and beans – Can do!

“FP” for Fuel Pull – Protein with less than 5 grams of fat and less than 10 grams of net carbs. Use these for snacks or a light meal.
Trim Healthy Mama is the brain child of two sisters – Pearl Barrett and Serene Allison.  I had purchased Serene’s Raw cookbook years ago, then back in 2012, when I saw that her and Pearl were coming out with a new no-fads, eating lifestyle book, I pre-ordered it. I then witnessed the “THM Movement” take off.

They could have never imagined the success the book would go on to become! It was the best-selling health book on Amazon without one dollar spent on advertising.  I watched as they started their first FB page – and Serene did not even know how to write a post!  It has been fun watching them grow from a few hundred followers to a few hundred thousand plan followers. They have put out several new books and now have their own THM Mama product line as well. There are thousands of success stories not only with weight loss but many who have also experienced great overall health benefits as well.

Here is a before and after picture of our Forti-fy team member, Heather, who is our THM aficionado.

You can check out Heather’s instagram page here, where she posts amazing pictures of her delicious food. She incorporates THM with Keto and IF.

Donna also has lots of delicious THM and low carb recipes that you can check out on her website here.

There are, of course, hundreds of thousands of sites for you to get more information – and a crazy amount of pinterest sites.

The main THM website can be found here.

Their FB page can be found here.

You can sign up for the private, ladies only group here.  It is a whole community of THM’rs asking questions, sharing recipes and posting amazing photos of weight  loss results. There are also a myraid of FB “sub groups” such as THM Allegy-Free, THM for beginners, THM over 50, THM Turtles, just to name a few.
